Established in 1987, BARC Midlands is now one of The British Automobile Racing Club’s seven highly successful centres. Closely associated with Mallory Park for many years, we celebrated our Silver Anniversary with a sprint at this historic Leicestershire circuit in 2012.

In addition to organising an annual programme of events at circuits including Rockingham Motor Speedway and the Curborough Sprint Course, the centre has managed the BARC Speed Championship since 2009. This caters for every kind of vehicle from standard production to single-seater racing cars, annually delivering up to twenty-five competitive rounds at some of the best circuit, sprint and hillclimb venues in the country.

During the last nine years, leading members of the centre’s committee have developed the BARC Speed Championship into a highly successful series that’s increasingly popular with speed competitors nationwide.
